Boats at La Isleta

We have made several visits recently to the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata, Almeria as we hope to move there shortly. I have started to paint a few coastal scenes of the area so that I will have some work to show when we move. These I have been painting in oils which I think is a suitable medium with which to capture the strong Mediterranean light and colours. I have enjoyed woirking on these after all the watercolours I have painted of Granada and drawing boats comes naturally to me after all those years painting harbours and creeks in Cornwall.
